Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy healing practice that supports balance, relaxation, and overall wellbeing by channeling universal life force energy. It is not a medical treatment and does not diagnose or treat illness, but many people find it deeply supportive alongside other wellness practices.
What does a Reiki session feel like?
Most clients experience deep relaxation, warmth, tingling sensations, or a profound sense of calm during a session. Many find themselves in a deeply restful state. Every experience is unique to the individual.
How is Reiki different from massage?
Reiki does not involve physical manipulation of the body. During an in-person session, my hands are held lightly above specific areas rather than making contact. The work is energetic rather than physical.
Does distance Reiki work as well as in-person?
Yes. Distance Reiki connects directly to your energy field regardless of physical location and carries the same depth and effectiveness as an in-person session. All you need is a quiet, uninterrupted space at your scheduled time.
Do I need to believe in Reiki for it to work?
No. Reiki works regardless of what you believe going in. All you need is a willingness to receive. Curiosity and an open mind are enough.
Is Reiki safe?
Yes. Reiki is non-invasive, gentle, and appropriate for all ages. It supports the body's natural processes without interference and complements other wellness or medical care without conflict.
How often should I book a session?
This depends entirely on your needs and goals. Some clients feel significant benefit from a single session. Others choose to schedule regularly for ongoing support. There is no requirement or expectation either way.
What is the difference between a Reiki session and an attunement?
A Reiki session is a healing experience where universal life force energy is channeled to support your wellbeing. An attunement is a different process that initiates a student into Reiki practice itself, opening their energy channels so they can begin to channel and work with Reiki energy themselves.
Intuitive Tarot
What can I expect from a tarot reading?
My readings are intuitive and guided entirely by psychic perception. Rather than following a fixed structure, I read what is energetically present and offer clarity, reflection, and insight into the patterns at play in your life. Readings are not predictive.
Can I get a written report instead of a Zoom session?
Yes, for 1 card and 3 card distance readings booked through Awakened Creations. Written reports are completed intuitively and delivered by email within 24 hours of your booking. Extended and in-person readings are conducted live.
What is the difference between a 1 card and 3 card reading?
A 1 card reading offers a single focused message around a specific theme or situation. A 3 card reading provides a broader energetic snapshot with more context, movement, and depth. The 60 minute session is best suited for complex questions, ongoing patterns, or significant transitions.
Energetic Services
What is the difference between a space clearing and an energy and entity evaluation?
A space clearing is a focused energetic reset that addresses accumulated residue and restores a settled baseline. An energy and entity evaluation is a comprehensive blind assessment of a space and its influences, followed by a collaborative plan for next steps. If you are unsure which is right for your situation, a space clearing is a good starting point.
How do I prepare my space for a session?
Pets should be secured and not free roaming during the session. Only individuals directly involved should be present. No unnecessary guests, staff, or customers. For businesses, this typically means scheduling outside of operating hours.
Are outcomes guaranteed?
No. Energetic work is influenced by many factors including the nature of the space, the people connected to it, and ongoing environmental conditions. In some cases, ongoing attention or additional work may be needed to support lasting change.
What does blind methodology mean?
All energetic services are conducted without prior information, background details, or personal narratives. This ensures that what is perceived during the session is genuinely present in the space and not shaped by expectation or suggestion.
How long does booking confirmation take?
All energetic service bookings are confirmed or followed up within 48 hours of your request. This allows time for proper preparation before each session.
Does the space clearing include entity removal?
No. Space clearing is a fixed scope service that addresses energetic residue and restores baseline flow. It does not include investigation, identification of causes, or entity work. If more complex issues are identified during a clearing, an energy and entity evaluation may be recommended.

Where are you located?
Awakened Creations Apothecary is based in the greater Portland Metro area. Energetic services are available in-person and onsite throughout the greater Portland and Southwest Washington area. Distance sessions and readings are available to clients anywhere.
