THE PRACTICE
I didn't find these gifts.
They found their way out.
I have known since I was young that I perceived the world differently than most people around me. What I felt, saw, and understood about energy, about spaces, about people, about what lingers, was never something I sought out or developed. It was simply always there, waiting to be understood.
That understanding deepened in ways I didn't choose. There was a period in my life when I needed help, real help, from people who knew what they were doing, navigating something energetically serious. Finding those people changed everything. It cracked something open in me, deepened my gifts, and put me in the path of a community that would shape the next chapter of my practice in ways I could not have anticipated.

Reiki came through that community. My first attunement in 2017 didn't give me my gifts. It gave them a new language.
The herbalism practice came later, and differently. It grew out of a simple joy, being outside, hands in soil, surrounded by the quiet energy of growing things. Somewhere in the intersection of that joy and everything else I had been building, Awakened Creations Apothecary was born. Formulations grown and gathered with intention, infused with Reiki, made with the same care I bring to every session.
That is what ACA is. Not a brand built around an aesthetic. A practice that needed somewhere to live.
GROUNDED IN MORE THAN ONE WORLD
The science doesn't leave the room when the energy work begins.
Before pursuing ACA full time, I spent years working in veterinary medicine and forensics in public health. That background didn't disappear when my practice deepened. It became part of how I approach everything. I take energy work seriously precisely because I understand what serious looks like. I don't make claims I can't stand behind. I don't perform certainty I don't have. What I offer you will always be genuine.
I have always lived in two worlds at once. My herbalism practice is rooted in formal study through the American College of Healthcare Sciences, where I earned Dean’s List recognition each semester; and in over a decade of learning the magical associations of plants, crystals, and tarot, forming my own relationships with each through personal practice and finding magic in the mundane. The academic and the intuitive have never been in conflict for me; they are the same conversation. Every formulation I make begins at that intersection; the medicinal and the magical held together with equal care, equal intention. That is not a method, it’s just how I am built.
My Cancer sun grounds everything I do in deep care and emotional attunement. My Gemini moon and rising keep me curious, adaptable, and able to hold complexity without losing the thread. I lead with empathy and land in logic. That combination is not accidental. It is the foundation every session, reading, and formulation is built on.
